The company believes that financial literacy and personal well-being are deeply interconnected.
Founded and led by Dr. Nicole Munhoo, a Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI®) with more than 21 years of experience in education, leadership, and business development, Dime Rise™ provides financial education programs tailored to different age groups and life stages. Its audiences include children, students, college learners, families, working professionals, small businesses, large companies, and retirees.
The company covers a broad range of financial topics, including budgeting, saving, credit management, debt reduction, annuities, homeownership, life insurance, emergency funds, education planning, e-commerce, and legacy planning. Its services are delivered through training programs, seminars, webinars, consultations, and self-paced online courses supported by a curriculum certified by the National Financial Educators Council.

Beginning her career as a classical performing artist, Dr. Nicole Munhoo brings a creative, non-traditional perspective to financial education and business leadership. With over 21 years of experience, she has dedicated her career to empowering individuals and communities through transformative financial education.
She holds a B.S. in Organizational Management, an MBA in Project Management, and a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership — completed Summa Cum Laude from Saint Peter's University.
Her dissertation: "A Qualitative Research Study on the Perceptions of Financial Literacy and Financial Well-Being of Students Using Loans at Colleges and Universities in New Jersey."

We believe that financial empowerment and community care go hand in hand — and giving back is at the heart of everything we do.
Dr. Nicole Munhoo is a passionate advocate for financial literacy among foster youth aging out of the system at age 18, as well as for adoptees — both in childhood and adulthood. She champions access to financial education as a critical resource for young people navigating life's transitions without a traditional safety net.
Dr. Nicole's commitment to this cause is deeply personal — she was herself an infant adoptee of the New York Foundling. She has remained a lifelong advocate for the greater purpose of providing safe homes, resources, healthcare, education, and safety for adoptees and foster youth.
